SnapBuild — Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the SnapBuild app for documenting job sites. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, which explains what data is involved.

Revision 1.0 Effective from 12.09.2026
This page exists only in English. It's the single authoritative version we maintain — no separate text is hand-translated per language, so it can't drift out of date in some languages while it's updated in others. Use the selector above (or your browser's own translate feature) to read it in your language: it translates this same live page on the fly, so it's never out of sync with the original. Automated translations are provided for convenience only; this English text is the one that legally applies.
01

Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing or using SnapBuild, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.

02

What SnapBuild is

SnapBuild is a mobile app to document job sites: albums with photos, videos, documents, notes and checklists, organized by client and address. It's built local-first — SnapBuild does not operate any server of its own — with optional cloud backup and diagnostic reporting described in the Privacy Policy.

03

Your content stays yours

Everything you create in SnapBuild — profile details, job sites, photos, videos, documents and notes — belongs to you. We claim no ownership over it. You're responsible for the content you capture and store, and for having the right to store and (if you choose to back it up) transmit it.

04

Free plan and purchases

SnapBuild's free plan lets you create up to 10 albums and 100 photos in total across your account. Once in-app purchases become available through Google Play Billing, you'll be able to unlock higher or unlimited limits and other features. Prices, exact limits and what's included with each purchase are shown in the app before you buy, and are governed by Google Play's own terms and payment processing.

05

Optional cloud backup

If you turn on backup, SnapBuild uploads a copy of your data to a Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive account you connect yourself, as described in the Privacy Policy. That storage is provided by the third party you chose, under their own terms of service — SnapBuild is only the app that writes to and reads from the folder it created there. We're not responsible for the availability, security or terms of those third-party services.

06

Acceptable use

Use SnapBuild only for lawful purposes. Don't use it to store or share content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have permission to capture. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app beyond what applicable law allows, and don't try to disrupt or abuse the backup or diagnostic services it connects to.

07

Intellectual property

The SnapBuild app itself — its code, design, name and logo — is owned by the SnapBuild team and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any right to it beyond installing and using the app on your own devices for its intended purpose.

08

No warranty

SnapBuild is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that data will never be lost — for instance in case of a lost, damaged or reset device. Since most of your data lives only on your device, we strongly recommend turning on cloud backup or exporting your data (Settings › Export data) if it matters to you.

09

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the SnapBuild team is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, business interruption or lost profits. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer-protection law.

10

Ending your use

By youUninstall the app anytime, or use Settings › Reset app first if you want to clear job sites and settings while keeping your profile.
By usWe may discontinue or change the app or a specific feature; where reasonably possible, we'll give notice on this page or in the app first.
11

Changes to these terms

Any change will be published on this same page, with an updated revision date above. Continuing to use SnapBuild after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. We recommend checking back from time to time.

12

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the European Union and the jurisdiction where the SnapBuild team operates, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.
